The Red's Ranch Family: Our Heart & Soul
Red's Ranch Beef began with a vision and a patch of fertile Texas land. In the late 1880s, W.T. Morgan—born in 1864 in Alabama—settled in Milam County and built the original farmhouse in 1894. He and his wife, Mary Virginia “Donie” Cone Morgan, raised seven children here, passing down values of hard work, stewardship, and quality that still guide our ranch today.
Their son Cecil later built the iconic hilltop home that stands as a symbol of our family’s deep roots. Our legacy reaches back even further through Clement Davis Chandler, an early Texas settler and veteran of the Texas Revolution. That pioneering spirit continues to shape how we ranch and raise our beef.
